Spicy + Tart Saffron Latte Smoothie
One of my favorite ways to make Warm Feelings™ saffron latte is with water instead of milk. The saffron latte powder already contains a creamy base of coconut milk powder and coconut water powder — organically grown, of course. (If you aren’t already aware of the healing benefits of coconut, I highly suggest giving this article a read).That being said, you don’t necessarily need to combine your saffron latte with milk — water will do just fine (and actually creates a much lighter, summer-friendly version of this bevvy).The other day, I was craving a smoothie to take down to the beach before sunset. I typically like to use Goodmylk’s almond milk as the liquid in my smoothies, however, as I began assembling the ingredients, I realized I had run out of almond milk. I was in a time crunch and began seeking alternative options in my fridge/pantry. A lightbulb went off when I realized that one sachet of Warm Feelings™ with some purified water would suffice!This smoothie recipe is perfectly creamy, but has a bit of a zing to it, thanks to the fresh ginger! Plus, the golden berries keep it nice and tart! Give it a try and let us know what you think!
Ingredients:
- 1 sachet of Warm Feelings™ saffron latte (1 tablespoon if you have the Warm Feelings™ jar)
- 8 ounces of water
- 1 frozen, organic banana
- Knob of organic ginger
- 2 tablespoons of organic golden berries
Assembly:
- Add one sachet of Warm Feelings™ saffron latte to your blender with 8 ounces of purified water
- Blend saffron latte for 10 seconds
- Add banana, ginger, and golden berries to the saffron latte
- Blend until thick (pro-tip: add golden berries at the very end and give the smoothie a quick blend — this will help keep the gritty texture of the golden berries alive!)
